When my Canva subscription ended, I rebuilt the one thing I actually used it for: lay photos into page templates and export a print-ready PDF that still opens cleanly in Illustrator.
What went into it
- Photos from local folders or shared Google Drive folders.
- Proper trim and bleed boxes for printers.
- Local-first: nothing gets uploaded anywhere.
