Led a cross-disciplinary team to design and build an autonomous maze-navigating robot with optimised pathfinding
What went into it
- Led a cross-disciplinary team to design, build, and program an autonomous maze-navigating robot from scratch, coordinating hardware and software development.
- Implemented advanced algorithms for maze solving, optimising pathfinding efficiency, memory usage, and traversal speed for real-time navigation.
- Designed the hardware circuitry and sensor integration using Arduino, ensuring reliable motor control and obstacle detection in competition conditions.
- Built and tested multiple iterations of the robot, refining both mechanical design and software logic through rigorous testing and competition preparation.
