Finally honing my talent
October was the month I stopped thinking about the camera and started carrying it. A short memo of what happened.
25 October 2026 · 1 min read
- Switched from Premiere Pro to DaVinci Resolve. Not going back.
- Got on more projects. People started commissioning me, which still feels new.
- Carried my new camera everywhere. Got over the FOMO and the imposter syndrome, and actually started recording.
- Went on rides and worked on projects with friends.
- Kept in touch: called people I hadn't spoken to in a while and reached out to old colleagues abroad.
- Helped out in a few meetings.
- Became a part-time mechanic when things didn't go to plan.
- Bonded with some good people.
- Learned new skills, new arts, new things.
- Pushed Glam Photobooth GH further on social media, and did a shoot for it.
- Tried somewhere new: My Noodle Cafe in Accra.
- Watched my first Uncle Ebo Whyte play. Loved it.
Work from this month
- HavenRae Studios: shot product photos for HavenRae Studios.
- Glam Photobooth GH: put up our site and started a new Instagram page, finally.
