Problem
Finding out what is on in Accra means scrolling five Instagram pages and a WhatsApp status. Buying a ticket means a mobile-money screenshot.
What I built
A full-stack events platform: discovery and search, organiser dashboards, ticketing with Paystack, real-time chat and a ticket wallet, on Next.js, Supabase and a Hono API.
Result
Built end to end, from the landing page to organiser identity checks before payouts. I also ran its social media.
GoOutside is a social event discovery and ticketing platform for Ghana: find what is on, see who is going, buy the ticket, go with your people.
What went into it
- Built search with URL-driven routing, organiser dashboards, real-time chat via Stream Chat and a ticketing wallet UI.
- Built profile pages, event management flows and a Hono/Node.js API layer on Supabase/PostgreSQL.
